Real Betis vs. Osasuna (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Osasuna make the trip to Real Betis on Wednesday evening having put together a four-match unbeaten streak in La Liga, a run which has kept them in the hunt for a top-half finish.

Meanwhile, Betis' draw at Celta Vigo at the weekend has moved the club to within one victory of guaranteeing their top-flight status for another 12 months.

We say: Real Betis 1-1 Osasuna


On the back of 10 points from a possible 12, Osasuna head into this contest as the clear favourites. However, Betis have enough quality in their ranks to claim a share of the spoils which may prove enough to secure their place in La Liga for next season.

Getafe vs. Villarreal (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Getafe and Villarreal square off at Coliseum Alfonso Perez with just one point separating the Champions-League-chasing sides in the La Liga table.

However, both teams head into this potentially-crucial contest having failed to record maximum points over the weekend, allowing Sevilla to extend their advantage in fourth position.

We say: Getafe 1-1 Villarreal


Having shipped four goals against Barcelona, Villarreal may take the cautious approach on Wednesday. However, goals have not been Getafe's strength over the past 11 months, and this game has every chance of ending in a low-scoring stalemate.

Barcelona vs. Espanyol (Wednesday, 9.00pm)

Barcelona will be looking to keep their slim hopes of La Liga glory alive when they play host to basement side Espanyol on Wednesday evening.

In contrast, Espanyol are 11 points adrift of safety and their relegation to the second tier will be confirmed if they lose to the Catalan giants in midweek.

We say: Barcelona 4-0 Espanyol


Espanyol could hardly have been handed a more difficult game to try and keep their faint hopes of La Liga survival alive, and with the division's basement side now facing an unrelenting Barcelona team on Wednesday, we expect the Catalan giants to record a straightforward victory and send Espanyol down to the Segunda Division.
