Sunday's Major League Soccer predictions including Seattle Sounders vs. Minnesota

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Seattle Sounders vs. Minnesota United.

Atlanta vs. New England (Sunday, 6.30pm)

After snapping a four-game winless streak a week ago, Atlanta United have a chance to extend their home unbeaten run to 13 games in Major League Soccer when they host the New England Revolution on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

In 90 minutes on Saturday, the Five Stripes scored more goals domestically than they had in all of their MLS affairs last month, beating the Chicago Fire 4-1, while the 2021 Supporters' Shield winners have earned points in back-to-back games after drawing the Columbus Crew 2-2.

We say: Atlanta United 1-3 New England Revolution

Miles Robinson is the backbone of the Atlanta defence, and his absence should allow an already potent attacking squad in New England to have plenty of openings to pick apart the Five Stripes in the final third.

The Revolution still have a pretty leaky defensive unit, but they should be able to make up for it with all of the chances that they are likely to have in this one, not to mention the fact that they are coming off an offensive outburst in midweek which should help restore some confidence to their attack.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Seattle vs. Minnesota Utd (Sunday, 9.00pm)

The Seattle Sounders will put their perfect home record against Minnesota United on the line when both teams meet on Sunday at Lumen Field.

It will be the second meeting between them in the 2022 Major League Soccer season, with the Rave Green winning the opening fixture back in April, 2-1.

We say: Seattle Sounders 2-0 Minnesota United

Their record may not look impressive, but without the CCL or U.S. Open Cup to think about anymore, Schmetzer and his side should be laser-focused on turning this campaign around, and they have enough experience in these situations to know how to recover.

Even though the Loons have seven more points than Seattle, Heath does not have the kind of depth that the Sounders possess, and we expect this match could be the start of a turnaround campaign for the Rave Green.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
