Team News: John Stones on bench for Everton

John Stones starts on the bench for Everton's trip to Aston Villa this evening.

John Stones takes a place on the Everton bench for the trip to Aston Villa this evening after spending a month out with a hamstring injury.

The Toffees, who were the subject of a £175m takeover at the weekend, make just the one change from their 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion last time out in the league, as Kevin Mirallas comes in for Tom Cleverley.

For the hosts, Remi Garde makes four changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Stoke City at the Britannia.

Mark Bunn loses his place between the sticks to Brad Guzan and falls to the bench, while Jordan Ayew returns from a three-game suspension. Micah Richards and Ciaran Clark come in while the men to make way are Jores Okore, Jordan Veretout and Carles Gil.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Richards, Clark, Lescott; Hutton, Cissokho; Bacuna, Westwood, Gana; Ayew, Agbonlahor
Subs: Bunn, Okore, Sinclair, Veretout, Gil, Lyden, Gestede

Everton: Robles; Oviedo, Funes Mori, Jagielka, Coleman; Barry, McCarthy; Mirallas, Barkley, Lennon; Lukaku
Subs: Howard, Baines, Stones, Kone, Niasse, Deulofeu, Osman
