Gabriel Agbonlahor: 'We must forget Swansea City defeat'

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor admits that his side must forget their recent form and concentrate on earning a result against Hull City on Saturday.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has called for focus ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Hull City.

Villa sit just three points above the relegation zone, but with the club's top-flight future in the balance, Agbonlahor has insisted that his side must forget about last week's heavy defeat to Swansea City.

The 27-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "Last week was a disappointing weekend. To lose 4-1 to anyone in the Premier League is disappointing. I think that we've just got to forget about that and look forward to Hull and make things right.

"It is going to be a tough game, we know that. Hull probably see themselves as not being safe yet so it is going to be tough.

"They are going to come and make it hard for us, play with 100% and try to get the result. That's the most we can do."

A win at Villa Park would all but secure the West Midlands side's place in the Premier League for another season.
