Bayern Munich open talks with Bordeaux over a move for Brazilian forward Malcolm, according to a report.

Bayern Munich have reportedly opened talks with Bordeaux over a move for Brazilian forward Malcom.

The 21-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, while Tottenham Hotspur were also said to be interested before moving for Paris Saint-Germain's Lucas Moura.

Arsenal were expected to reignite their interest this summer, but according to Bild, Bayern are already in talks with Bordeaux over a deal at the end of the season.

The report claims that terms on a five-year contract have already been discussed as Bayern look to secure the signature of a player that has scored eight times and registered seven assists in 28 appearances in all competitions this season.

Malcom joined Bordeaux from Brazilian side Corinthians in January 2016.
