Arsene Wenger pleased with Arsenal display

Arsene Wenger is pleased with his Arsenal players for taking the chances when they came up against Swansea City.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed his players for taking the chances against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners scored twice in the second half to register a 2-1 victory in their Premier League clash.

"There is nothing better than winning," he told Sky Sports News. "The first half was quite difficult, we were slow in our combinations and Swansea were sharper than us.

"It was a question of being patient without making mistakes. Afterwards, we were much stronger and playing at our level. We took advantage of the chances we have created.

"We have substance in the team and we could see that today in the second half. We came out with purpose in our game and that was important."

Arsenal are currently at the top of the league table with 15 points from six matches.
