Current form excites Kei Nishikori

Kei Nishikori speaks of his delight at his current form following his "almost perfect" display against Viktor Troicki.

Kei Nishikori has admitted that he is excited by the performances he has produced at the Miami Open.

The world number five reached the fourth round of the tournament yesterday afternoon thanks to a 6-2 6-2 win over Viktor Troicki, who required medical treatment midway through the match.

Speaking after his 63-minute victory, he told reporters: "I was almost perfect on the court. It is so exciting that I am playing well here.

"Maybe he was hurting a little bit, but I was still putting him under pressure with my return."

The Japanese player will now take on David Goffin for a place in the quarter-finals.
