Yeovil Town have completed the signing of former Fulham and Swindon Town player Alex Smith on a month-long deal.
The 23-year-old, who played 10 games for Swindon last term, was released after only one season at the County Ground.
Smith, a product of Fulham's academy and who made one Premier League appearance during his time with the Cottagers, has previously had a loan spell with League One rivals Leyton Orient.
However, Smith is not eligible to feature in Yeovil's game against Preston North End on Saturday.
The Somerset club are currently 22nd in the table.
