Wolves boss Kenny Jackett: 'Fans right to boo us after defeat to Brentford'

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett says that the supporters were right to boo the team following Wednesday's 2-0 defeat to Brentford at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has claimed that the club's disgruntled fans have every right to boo the team following Wednesday night's defeat to Brentford.

The Championship outfit fell to their second consecutive league loss in the form of a 2-0 defeat to the Bees at Molineux.

Boos rang around the stadium at the half-time and full-time whistles, and Jackett, who oversaw his side suffer a 4-2 loss against Derby County at the weekend, concedes that his team were not good enough on the night.

"I was disappointed how we started the game, we were outpassed," Jackett told the Express & Star. "Six goals against in two games doesn't give you much chance of getting points. Our approach wasn't good enough.

"[The boos are] fair enough. The fans encouraged us tonight, they stuck with it, I'm thankful for that. Their reaction is justified with that performance and that result."

Wolves are currently 12th in the league table, six points off a playoff place.
