Preview: West Ham United vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Premier League clash between West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion.

West Ham United will host West Bromwich Albion at Upton Park this weekend, in what could be a vital match for each team's relegation prospects.

The Hammers are currently 19th in the table following their Boxing Day defeat to Arsenal, and are in danger of being cut adrift with Sunderland at the bottom of the table.

They have lost four of their last five games in the league, and have not picked up three points since their 3-0 victory over Fulham in November.

West Brom earned a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Boxing Day, but extended their winless run to eight league games.

They have not won since beating fellow strugglers Crystal Palace 2-0 at the start of November, with their poor form costing Steve Clarke his position as manager.

West Ham defender James Collins picked up a knock against Arsenal and is a doubt, while Victor Anichebe was not included in West Brom's squad against Spurs and may miss out again.
