Ricardo Vaz Te expects West Ham United response against Crystal Palace

Ricardo Vaz Te believes that West Ham will respond positively to their defeat against Tottenham when they face Crystal Palace this weekend.

West Ham United midfielder Ricardo Vaz Te has backed the team to respond positively to their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hammers were beaten in their opening match of the new Premier League campaign last Saturday with a 1-0 loss on home turf.

However, Vaz Te is confident that he and his teammates can get a positive result when they travel to Crystal Palace this weekend.

"We're going to go there with confidence. Obviously we know we can get a result there," he told the club's official website.

"It's going to be tough, of course it's going to be tough, but we believe in ourselves. I think we're a very good side and we've got plenty of players here capable of making the difference."

Vaz Te scored four goals in 10 appearances for West Ham during the 2013-14 campaign.
