Francesco Guidolin: 'Swansea City unlucky to lose against Hull City'

Francesco Guidolin believes that his Swansea City side were unfortunate to lose as Hull City claimed all three points at the Liberty Stadium in a 2-0 win.

Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has claimed that his side were unfortunate to lose against Hull City, who won 2-0 in Saturday's Premier League clash at the Liberty Stadium.

Tigers substitute Shaun Maloney struck the first goal in the 79th minute before setting up Abel Hernandez for the visitors' second in stoppage time.

"We didn't deserve to lose today," Guidolin told reporters. "We attacked for 90 minutes but not brilliantly. We have to play quicker but it's not easy against a team so compact behind the ball.

"I am disappointed but we have to work in the next days to prepare well for the next game against Peterborough in the cup and after that against Leicester. It's our job.

"It was a difficult game and not a good game but tomorrow is a different day."

The result puts Swansea 10th in the Premier League table.
