Team News: Stephen Ireland returns for Stoke City in one of three changes

Stephen Ireland is one of three players recalled to Stoke City's starting lineup for this afternoon's visit of Swansea City in the Premier League.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has made three changes to his side for this afternoon's Premier League meeting with Swansea City at the Britannia Stadium.

Midfielder Stephen Ireland is among the returning players for the home team, along with Erik Pieters and Mame Biram Diouf.

Marc Muniesa, Marko Arnautovic and Glenn Whelan are the men to make way, as Stoke look to return to winning ways following their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Sunderland last time out.

Swansea boss Garry Monk has made two changes to his side, meanwhile, with Angel Rangel returning from suspension to replace Jazz Richards, while Tom Carroll also comes into the side in the place of the banned Jonjo Shelvey.

Stoke: Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters; Nzonzi, Adam, Diouf, Ireland, Moses; Crouch
Subs: Sorensen, Muniesa, Walters, Cameron, Sidwell, Assaidi, Bojan

Swansea: Fabianski; Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Carroll, Ki, Sigurdsson; Dyer, Routledge, Bony
