Preview: Stoke City vs. Swansea City

Stoke City will be hoping that summer signing Michael Owen can be the difference in this weekend's Premier League clash against Swansea City.

Stoke City can overcome the disappointment of losing to Chelsea at the weekend with a home tie against Swansea City on Saturday.

The Potters relinquished three points against the Blues in a 1-0 defeat over the weekend, while the Swans are desperate to get back to winning ways in the league following a 3-0 defeat to Everton.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has hinted that summer signing Michael Owen could start this weekend after claiming that he is closing in on full fitness, while Steven N'Zonzi could drop to the bench in order to allow a 4-4-2 formation.

Meanwhile, Swans boss Michael Laudrup is expected to keep Miguel Michu in the middle of the park in order to provide attacking service to Danny Graham at the top of the field.

Recent form:

Stoke: DDDDL
Swansea: WDLLW

Possible lineups:

Stoke: Begovic; Huth, Shawcross, Cameron, Wilson; Kightly, Adam, Whelan, Walters; Crouch, Owen

Swansea: Vorm; Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies; Ki, De Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Routledge; Graham

Sports Mole says: 1-1
