Mark Hughes: 'Stoke City trio could make debuts'

Lee Grant, Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi could all make their Stoke City debuts this weekend, Potters boss Mark Hughes reveals.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has said that Lee Grant, Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi could all make their debuts for the Potters in Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Grant arrived on loan from Derby County on transfer deadline day, while Bony and Martins Indi made loan moves from Manchester City and Porto respectively to boost Stoke's squad for the 2016-17 campaign.

Hughes, whose team sit bottom of the Premier League table after two games of the new campaign, has revealed that all three are available this weekend after taking part in a full week of training.

"They are in my thoughts. All three have trained really well. I won't have any qualms about playing them," Hughes told reporters.

Joe Allen, Ramadan Sobhi and Ryan Sweeney also arrived at the Britannia during the summer transfer window.
