Agent: 'Christian Eriksen not considering Real Madrid move'

Christian Eriksen is ignoring recent speculation linking him with Real Madrid and is instead focusing on his football with Tottenham Hotspur, according to his agent.

Christian Eriksen's agent has insisted that the Tottenham Hotspur playmaker is 'only focused on his football' and is not concerning himself with links with a move to Real Madrid.

The Denmark international is rumoured to be a transfer target for Los Blancos, who are planning a summer overhaul to revitalise their squad.

Eriksen has impressed across his six seasons with Tottenham, particularly in 2018-19 as he has a combined 18 goals and assists in the Premier League and Champions League.

Spurs are keen to extend the 27-year-old's contract beyond next year, though, and agent Martin Schoots has attempted to play down talk of an imminent switch to the Bernabeu,

"Christian only wants to focus himself on football," he told ESPN. "Besides his technical, tactical and athletic skills, also this attitude has contributed over the years to his impressive transformation from world-class talent to world-class player.

"At this moment I would prefer not to join the speculations about contracts and transfers."

Tottenham are believed to have placed a £225m price tag on Eriksen's head, despite having a little over a year to run on his deal.
