Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly ready to step immediately into another high-profile managerial position.

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly ready to step immediately into another high-profile coaching position and does not want to take a break from management following his departure from Real Madrid.

The 48-year-old's exit from the Bernabeu has now been officially confirmed, with a disappointing 2020-21 campaign for Los Blancos ending without a trophy.

There had been suggestions that the former midfielder would now take an extended break from management before potentially returning for the 2022-23 season.

However, according to L'Equipe, Zidane is keen to return to the dugout as soon as possible, making himself available for any top-level European clubs looking for a new head coach.

The Frenchman had been linked with Juventus, but the Italian giants have reappointed Massimiliano Allegri following the departure of Andrea Pirlo.

Paris Saint-Germain could soon be looking for a new manager, though, if current boss Mauricio Pochettino leaves to return to Tottenham Hotspur or moves to Real Madrid to succeed Zidane.
