Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly convinced that Mauricio Pochettino will continue in his position as head coach next season.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly confident that they will retain the services of head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

After failing to win Ligue 1 or the Champions League, it has been suggested that the French giants may be prepared to part ways with the Argentine.

That speculation emerged at a time when Pochettino's former club Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with an approach for their ex-boss.

However, despite claims that Pochettino has requested an exit from his Parc des Princes contract, journalist Fabrizio Romano says that the 49-year-old is expected to stay in France.

Pochettino will allegedly have to make "a public statement" if he wishes to engineer a departure from a club who he only joined in December.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is now said to be considering other managerial targets.
