Toni Kroos is reportedly to remain at Real Madrid next season, with the 33-year-old being ensured of his importance next term by manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Toni Kroos has reportedly decided to stay at Spanish giants Real Madrid next season, with his current deal expiring at the Bernabeu in the summer.

The 33-year-old continues to be a regular starter for the Madrid club this campaign, appearing 20 times in La Liga for a Carlo Ancelotti side who are competing for domestic and Champions League glory.

The German has been contributing in terms of assists in recent matches, providing the service for Vinicius Junior's goal in the 3-1 win over Espanyol on Saturday.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Kroos has already decided to remain at Real Madrid for next season and will soon agree new terms with his current deal expiring in June.

The report also claims that Ancelotti and Kroos have sat down for talks, with the Italian manager convincing his midfield veteran that he will remain a key part of the Real Madrid team next season, despite the rise of Aurelien Tchouameni and others.

Kroos has played in 35 of Los Blancos' 41 matches across all competitions so far this term, recording two goals and three assists in La Liga as his side chase down Barcelona.
