Former Rangers boss Paul Le Guen moves to Bursaspor

Turkish club Bursaspor announce that they have appointed Paul Le Guen - formerly of Rangers - as their new manager.

Former Rangers boss Paul Le Guen has been appointed as the new manager of Turkish club Bursaspor.

In 2006, Le Guen made the move to Ibrox after an impressive spell with Lyon but he lasted just 31 games, winning 16 times and losing on seven occasions.

He got back on track with Paris Saint-Germain and won the French League Cup in 2008 but he has spent the last eight years out of club football, instead taking coaching roles with Cameroon and Oman.

However, the 53-year-old will be back in the dugout next season after agreeing to become the new boss of Bursaspor, who finished in 15th place in the top flight last season.

Le Guen has penned a two-year deal at the Timsah Arena with the aim of restoring the club - who won the title in 2010 - back to the top six.
