Sunday's Primeira Liga predictions including Porto vs. Gil Vicente

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Porto vs. Gil Vicente.

Rio Ave vs. Chaves (Sunday, 3.30pm)

Seeking to pick up successive home wins for the first time this year, Rio Ave welcome Chaves to the Estadio dos Arcos in round 22 of the Primeira Liga on Sunday.

Luis Freire's men head into the weekend unbeaten in each of their last four home games against the Flavienses since April 2018 and will be looking to keep the juggernaut rolling.

We say: Rio Ave 2-1 Chaves

With just two points separating Rio Ave and Chaves in the league standings, we expect a thrilling contest on Sunday. The Vilacondenses have been solid on home turf this season and we fancy them claiming all three points this weekend.

Pacos de Ferreira vs. Boavista (Sunday, 6.00pm)

Pacos de Ferreira will be seeking to lift themselves off the bottom of the Primeira Liga table when they host Boavista on Sunday evening at the Estadio da Mata Real.

The hosts are currently on a run of four consecutive games without a win in this fixture, while the visitors are aiming to secure their first away win in the league since September.

We say: Pacos de Ferreira 1-1 Boavista

Despite Pacos de Ferreira's position in the table, they have shown an upturn in form recently, winning two of their last three games.

We think they will fancy their chances of getting a result against a side that are enduring a torrid time away from home.

Porto vs. Gil Vicente (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Fresh off the back of their Champions League defeat against Inter Milan, Porto return to action in the Primeira Liga when they go head to head with Gil Vicente on Sunday.

Having failed to win any of the last eight meetings between the sides since August 2019, the Gilistas will head to the Estadio do Dragao looking to get one over the hosts.

We say: Porto 3-0 Gil Vicente

Following their midweek Champions League defeat, Porto will be looking to put together a fine run of form and build momentum ahead of March's return leg. Conceicao's men have been near impenetrable on home turf this season and we are backing them to return to winning ways this weekend.
