David Norris not making Plymouth Argyle return

Plymouth Argyle boss John Sheridan insists that he is not keen on signing ex-Pilgrims midfielder David Norris.

Plymouth Argyle boss John Sheridan has ruled out bringing David Norris back to the club.

The 33-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent after being released by Leeds United earlier this week.

Despite playing nearly 250 games for Plymouth between 2002 and 2008, Sheridan insists that he is not keen on signing the veteran.

"It's just speculation," he told the Plymouth Herald. "He was a good player when he was at Plymouth. It's a name that people know, but he's not someone who I'm interested in."

Plymouth continue their League Two campaign on Saturday with the visit of Accrington Stanley.
