Alan Archibald: 'Partick Thistle have issues playing at home'

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald believes that his side have subconscious issues when it comes to playing at home.

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald has admitted that his players have 'subconscious issues' when it comes to playing in front of their own fans, after they drew 3-3 against Ross County at home in the Scottish Premiership.

The Jags were 3-1 up at Firhill, but County hit back straight away with a Ben Gordon goal, before Filip Kiss leveled the score with 15 minutes left.

"It's starting to look like this problem of not winning at home is a subconscious issue because when you are 3-1 up at home you should be on easy street," Archibald told reporters.

"It feels like a defeat. We have struggled to score at home all season and then get three today and still don't win the match. It's hard to take.

"We didn't react well when we went ahead. We panicked. The worse thing to do as a defender is to retreat but we moved back five yards and invited County forward."

Partick currently lie 10th in the league table.
