In the 19th minute Millwall took the lead when Gonzalo Jara deflected Scott Malone's low cross into his own net.

The Lions scored a second goal with six minutes of the first half remaining, as Lee Martin cut in from the left before firing a strike across the keeper and into the bottom corner.
