How Newcastle United could line up against West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole looks at how Newcastle United could line up against West Bromwich Albion in Sunday's Premier League relegation six-pointer.

Steve Bruce has a mounting injury crisis to contend with ahead of Newcastle United's clash with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.

The Magpies are without top scorer Callum Wilson until the end of the month and have now lost fellow attackers Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin.

Devoid of arguably his three most important players, Bruce must now dig deep to find a solution in what is a huge match for his side.

Joelinton now seems certain to lead the line, with Arsenal loanee Joe Willock positioned just off him and support provided from the wing-backs.

Matt Ritchie, who would usually be a contender to start in one of those wide positions, is unlikely to be part of the squad after falling out with his manager this week.

Defenders Emil Krafth and Federico Fernandez are doubtful for the trip to The Hawthorns, meanwhile, and Fabian Schar is another who is still recovering from injury.

Newcastle possible starting lineup: Dubravka; Murphy, Lascelles, Clark, Lewis; Hendrick, Hayden, Shelvey, Fraser; Willock, Joelinton
