Sunday's Serie A predictions including Lazio vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Lazio vs. Napoli.

Torino vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 11.35am)

Following their fightback in the Derby della Mole, 10th-placed Torino host improving Cagliari on Sunday, seeking to consolidate their top-half position in Serie A.

Having held city rivals Juventus to a draw last time out, the Granata will now face a side that have lost only once since the start of the year.

We say: Torino 1-0 Cagliari

Torino may have tailed off in recent weeks, but will be emboldened by taking a point from perhaps their biggest game of the season, and are now ready to get back on the winning trail.

Several months plagued by injury and lack of match-sharpness has held Andrea Belotti back this term, but his crucial goal at Juve could trigger a more productive patch from the Italy striker - and Cagliari may be among those made to pay.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Hellas Verona vs. Venezia (Sunday, 2.05pm)

Reprising a local rivalry which produced the most incredible comeback of the Serie A season, Hellas Verona and Venezia clash at Stadio Bentegodi on Sunday afternoon.

This week's visitors blew a three-goal lead to lose December's reverse fixture 4-3, so not only have three precious points in their sights but also hope of exacting revenge.

We say: Hellas Verona 2-1 Venezia

Hellas will do the double over their neighbours from the lagoon, as their goal threat is just too much for Venezia to handle.

Though a European place will most probably elude them, the hosts are back on an upward trajectory, and they can push forward freely on Sunday due to their visitors' failings in the final third.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Spezia vs. Roma (Sunday, 5.05pm)

After three consecutive Serie A draws - and four games without a win - Roma look to get their pursuit of a top six place back on track this weekend, as they visit Spezia at Stadio Alberto Picco.

The teams meet on Sunday evening, with Jose Mourinho under pressure to produce a first victory of the month against a side managed by one of his former players.

We say: Spezia 1-2 Roma

It will surely not be a straightforward process - as only Empoli have conceded more goals than Roma's 13 in Serie A during 2022 - but the visitors can return to the capital with all three points.

Having lost consecutive games and starting without their first-choice striker, Spezia's downward trend will continue - with Juventus also on the horizon next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.50pm)

With both clubs exiting Europe in midweek, sixth-placed Lazio and Scudetto contenders Napoli will aim to avoid a Serie A hangover on Sunday.

While the hosts - who were knocked out of the Europa League by Porto - have gone unbeaten in six domestic fixtures, their visitors are without a win in four games following a 4-2 defeat to Barcelona.

We say: Lazio 2-2 Napoli

The influence of 'Sarri-ball' lives on, as both sides favour an attractive, possession based style which should make this clash of two southern rivals a pleasure to watch.
