Manchester United to sell Robin van Persie, Juan Mata, Rafael da Silva?

Manchester United will reportedly offload Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie, Juan Mata and Rafael da Silva in the summer.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to offload Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao, Juan Mata and Rafael da Silva this summer.

The Premier League giants are believed to be prepared to hand over around £150m to manager Louis van Gaal to spend on transfers when the season comes to a close.

According to The Express, even if United fail to qualify for the top four, the Dutch boss, who witnessed his side get knocked out of the FA Cup by holders Arsenal on Monday night, will still be granted a huge transfer kitty.

While numerous big-name players have been linked to Old Trafford, reports have claimed that Falcao, Van Persie, Mata and Rafael are surplus to requirements.

Falcao has scored just four goals since his loan arrival from Monaco last summer, while Van Persie has been plagued by injuries and Mata has spent many a game on the bench this season.

Rafael is reportedly expected to be offloaded in the summer due to the club's interest in Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne.
