Report: Gareth Bale 'most likely' to leave Real Madrid

Gareth Bale is reportedly most likely to leave Real Madrid should the La Liga giants complete a move for AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe.

Gareth Bale has reportedly emerged as the Real Madrid star who is 'most likely' to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Over the past seven days, Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a departure from the La Liga giants, with his potential sale giving Real extra funds to sign AS Monaco winger Kylian Mbappe.

However, according to L'Equipe, there is more chance of Bale exiting the Spanish club should Real push forward with their attempts to sign Mbappe.

It has been suggested that Mbappe would be more willing to make the switch if one of Real's key attackers were sold during the transfer window.

Previous reports have suggested that Bale remains intent on remaining at his current club in a bid to impress Zinedine Zidane after being restricted to just 19 appearances in the league last season.

If the Welshman is made available by Real, he is expected to attract interest from Manchester United.
