Paris Saint-Germain reportedly decide to launch a world-record offer to try to sign AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly decided to join the race to sign in-demand AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

After scoring 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, the teenager has attracted the attention of European football's biggest clubs, who are all seemingly prepared to break the world transfer record in order to secure his signature.

Mbappe's preference is reportedly Real Madrid, who are managed by idol Zinedine Zidane, while Arsenal are also said to be interested in taking the 18-year-old to the Emirates Stadium.

However, according to Goal.com, PSG have made themselves an option for Mbappe and have made a bid of €135m (£118.4m) to try to steal a march on their rivals.

Last week, boss Unai Emery claimed that the Ligue 1 giants wanted to sign Mbappe, and it now appears that they have made their move.

It has also been reported that Liverpool have had a bid rejected for the French international.
