Manchester United will allegedly not consider any offers for Marcus Rashford during this summer's transfer window despite the recent speculation.

Manchester United will reportedly not consider offers for Marcus Rashford during this summer's transfer window despite the recent speculation surrounding the attacker.

The 26-year-old was handed a lucrative long-term deal at Old Trafford last summer off the back of scoring 30 goals and registering 11 assists in 56 appearances during the 2022-23 campaign.

Rashford has found it difficult to show his best form for the Red Devils this season, though, only managing five goals and six assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.

There have been concerns over the England international's body language this term, while he is believed to have been fined two weeks' wages last month for visiting a nightclub in Dublin on two separate evenings and then calling in sick for training before his side's FA Cup contest with Newport County.

Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have identified Rashford as their leading target to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is leaving the club on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the situation in the event that the Red Devils academy product becomes available for transfer.

However, according to Football Insider, the 20-time English champions are not willing to let Rashford leave the club during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe is determined to keep the Englishman at Old Trafford, viewing him as a key part of the club's plans for the future.

Rashford has only managed five goals and three assists in 24 Premier League appearances this season, but he could now operate through the middle due to the absence of Rasmus Hojlund, who is set to be missing for the next two to three weeks with a muscular issue.

"We have our options in our squad. Of course, it's a setback for Rasmus. It's a setback for us that we can't keep this process going from the three in the frontline," Man United head coach Erik ten Hag told MUTV.

"They were really complementary to each other lately, but I think also we can put out other frontlines who can become complementary and co-operate well together and create chances. As I said, they are all capable of scoring goals."

Rashford has often spoken of his desire to play off the left, but Man United's lack of options at centre-forward are likely to mean that he plays through the middle in Hojlund's absence, starting with Sunday's Premier League clash with Fulham.

The Englishman scored in three league games in a row against Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers between December 30 and February 1, but he has since drawn blanks against West Ham United, Aston Villa and Luton Town.
