Manchester United are wary of giving in to Mino Raiola's contract demands for Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly refusing to be held to ransom over Paul Pogba's future, as the midfielder prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford.

The France international's current deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side is due to expire next June, and there remains constant speculation surrounding his future in Manchester.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are said to be keen on the World Cup winner, but all three clubs could be priced out of a summer move due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

According to The Mirror, Man United want Pogba to sign a new deal, but the 20-time English champions are wary of giving in to the Frenchman's agent Mino Raiola when it comes to wage demands.

The report claims that the 28-year-old's representative wants a deal worth in excess of £400,000 a week, and the club's board are currently weighing up whether the deal would represent value for money.

Head coach Solskjaer is said to be determined to keep Pogba, who has scored six goals and registered nine assists in 40 appearances at club level during the 2020-21 campaign.
