Manchester United will battle Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly battle Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old has again been in strong form for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering 10 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

Milinkovic-Savic still has more than two years left to run on his deal with Lazio, but there have been suggestions that he could be on the move ahead of next season.

According to journalist Nicolo Ceccarini, Man United and PSG are set to battle for the Serbia international during the upcoming market.

Ceccarini claims that Juventus have also expressed an interest in signing the midfielder, but Milinkovic-Savic is unlikely to remain in Italy if he leaves Lazio.

A recent report claimed that the White and Sky Blues would demand 'a big offer' for the Serbian due to his importance at Stadio Olimpico.

Man United are expected to sign at least one new central midfielder this summer, with Paul Pogba widely expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of June.
