New Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti will not allow Richarlison to join Manchester United, according to a report.

New Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti will reportedly block any attempt from Manchester United to sign the Merseyside club's forward Richarlison.

The Red Devils are allegedly interested in moving for the Brazil international, who has scored eight times in 23 appearances for Everton during the 2019-20 campaign.

However, according to The Sun, Ancelotti views the 22-year-old as a key figure in his plans at Goodison Park, and the Italian will refuse to sanction a deal amid talk of a potential offer from United.

The report claims that the former Napoli boss has 'ultimate power in terms of buying and selling' despite Marcel Brands being present as the club's director of football.

The Toffees signed Richarlison from Watford in the summer of 2017, spending an initial £35m to secure the South American's services on a contract until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

The attacker's overall Premier League record stands at 24 goals in 92 appearances.
