A report claims that Mauricio Pochettino is a managerial target for Chelsea, who will sack Maurizio Sarri if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea may reportedly join Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race for Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The 46-year-old is believed to be the top managerial target for Madrid and United ahead of next season following his impressive work in North London.

Tottenham's city rivals Chelsea could also be on the lookout for a new manager, meanwhile, as The Express suggests that Maurizio Sarri has been warned by owner Roman Abramovich that he will be sacked if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea are currently fourth in the Premier League, three points ahead of Arsenal who have a game in hand to play, while also making it through to the last 32 of the Europa League.

The same report indicates that Pochettino remains of interest to Abramovich, despite the Russian knowing that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is unwilling to offload the Argentine, who has four years to run on the contract he signed last May.

All three clubs will be asked to pay upwards of £50m if they are to have any hope of landing Pochettino.
