Preview: Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole looks ahead to Saturday's Premier League encounter between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Old Trafford is the venue for the pick of this weekend's Premier League fixtures as Manchester United welcome the visit of rivals Arsenal.

Both sides leaked goals in their midweek Capital One Cup ties, but the Gunners should be buoyed by coming through theirs against Reading 7-5 before United lost 5-4 at Chelsea.

Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to make a number of changes to the side that suffered defeat at Stamford Bridge, with a number of senior figures returning to the starting XI.

All eyes are expected to be on former Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, who could lead the attack with Wayne Rooney, while David de Gea, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick may also feature.

Wojciech Szczesny is still sidelined for the visitors and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has emerged as a fresh injury doubt for the match. However, Jack Wilshere could be given a starting berth following his recent comeback from injury.
