David Moyes admits that he would have been happy to move Everton's match against Manchester United to help Sir Alex Ferguson's side prepare for Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Everton manager David Moyes believes that the Premier League should be doing everything they can to help clubs that are in the Champions League.

Sir Alex Ferguson was annoyed that Manchester United had to play Everton on a Sunday afternoon, just three days before an away trip to Real Madrid.

Moyes said that he would have been happy to play the fixture on Saturday.

"You would think the Premier League would try to help the teams in these competitions because it's good for the league," said Moyes.

"I'd be supportive of any teams who need their games to be played at the right times."

The game ended 2-0 to United, who are now 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
