Anthony Martial, Antony or Scott McTominay are set to remain on the sidelines for Manchester United's trip to Leeds United on Sunday.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is not expecting to have Anthony Martial, Antony or Scott McTominay available for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Martial has struggled with a number of injury problems during the 2022-23 campaign, and a hip issue is currently keeping the France international on the treatment table.

A timeframe for a potential return has not been set, but Ten Hag has admitted that the 27-year-old is also likely to be missing for Sunday's trip to Elland Road.

Like Martial, Antony was also absent against Leeds at Old Trafford on Wednesday, with the Brazil international ruled out of what proved to be a 2-2 draw due to leg issue.

McTominay, meanwhile, has missed Man United's last four matches with a muscular problem.

"I don't expect [them to be fit]. We have some days obviously, but I don't expect it," Ten Hag told reporters during his press conference.

The Dutchman revealed that his side did not suffer "any new problems" on Wednesday, but Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen are long-term absentees through injury.

"If I can oversee it from now, I don't see any new problems coming up," he added.

Man United will also again be missing Casemiro due to suspension, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be back in the squad if he overcomes the illness that ruled him out of Wednesday's game with Leeds.

"With the injuries, if you see Christian Eriksen, you can't see that as an impact from the tough season, but it definitely is a tough season with the World Cup in between and a lot of overload for the players. That process is already longer term, going on that the load on the players is too much," said Ten Hag.

The Dutchman also admitted that Martial, Antony and McTominay are major doubts for next week's Europa League knockout round playoff first leg with Barcelona.

"The same answer. I can't say 100%, but I don't expect it," he said.

Man United were two goals behind against Leeds in the early stages of the contest at Old Trafford but answered back through Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to secure a point.

The 20-time English champions will now visit Elland Road on Sunday before heading to Barcelona, with the first leg between the two giants of European football taking place on February 16.
