Sports Mole looks at which teams Paris Saint-Germain could face in the last 16 of this season's Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain's latest quest for Champions League glory will continue in the New Year after they safely booked their place in the knockout rounds of the competition.

The 2019-20 runners-up were drawn in a tough group alongside Manchester City, RB Leipzig and Club Brugge, ultimately having to settle for second place behind the English champions.

Nevertheless, a team boasting the attacking talents of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar - not to mention the experience of two four-time winners in Messi and Sergio Ramos - can never be discounted.

As runners-up of Group A, PSG are guaranteed to face a seeded team in the last 16, in theory resulting in a more difficult passage through the latter stages of the competition.

However, they cannot face a club from their own country nor a club they have already faced in the group stages.

Mauricio Pochettino's men can therefore not be drawn against either Lille or Man City in the last 16, but they could face any of the other group winners - Liverpool, Ajax, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United or Juventus.

The draw will take place at UEFA's Nyon headquarters at 11am GMT on Monday, December 13. You can find out everything you need to know about the draw by clicking here.
