Manchester City to move again for Nicolas Tagliafico?

Manchester City are reportedly likely to reignite their interest in Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico during the January transfer window.

Manchester City reportedly remain interested in signing Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.

The Argentina international was heavily linked with a transfer to the Premier League during the summer window, only for each of the interested clubs to opt against meeting his £35m asking price.

However, with less than two years remaining on his contract, the left-back is effectively still available for the right price at the beginning of 2021.

According to The Sun, City may be prepared to make a fresh attempt to sign the 28-year-old midway through the campaign.

The report suggests that Pep Guardiola would look to bring in Tagliafico for a fee in the region of £20m.

Ajax could be willing to sell one of their key men if they fail to progress through to the Champions League knockout stages.
