Manchester City reportedly target three new signings this summer alongside their ongoing pursuit of 25-year-old Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly set his sights on securing three new signings at the Etihad Stadium this summer, while Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish also remains a target.

The Citizens reportedly declared their interest in the England international at the end of the 2020-21 Premier League season, as he scored six goals and registered 12 assists from 26 Premier League appearances for his boyhood club amidst several injury issues.

While they recently added to their own attacking ranks with the capture of winger Emiliano Buendia, the Villans are said to be keen to keep hold of their talisman, and are reportedly opening contract talks following the conclusion of Euro 2020, with Grealish having registered two assists in 116 minutes of football for England so far.

According to The Mirror, the Citizens are willing to stump up £100m to secure the signature of the 25-year-old this summer, or else wait two more years for another chance to bring Grealish to the Etihad Stadium.

Having already brought in Kayky and Metinho from Fluminense, Guardiola is also said to be looking into bringing a new centre-forward to the club, after Sergio Aguero departed for Barcelona in the summer upon the expiry of his contract.

The Spaniard is also reportedly interested in strengthening his defensive line with another centre-back, amidst rumours linking Aymeric Laporte with a move away from the club, and a left-back to rival Oleksandr Zinchenko after Benjamin Mendy's series of injury problems.
