Dutch teenager Karim Rekik is given his Manchester City debut at left-back in this afternoon's Premier League match against Reading.

Roberto Mancini has handed 18-year-old left-back Karim Rekik his Manchester City debut for this afternoon's visit of Reading.

The Dutchman is the surprise choice ahead of Gael Clichy in City's lineup, that is also missing captain Vincent Kompany.

Up front, Mancini has opted for the Argentinian duo of Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.

For the visitors, Pavel Pogrebnyak is given a rare start up front while Alex Pearce comes in for Kaspars Gorkss at the back.

City: Hart; Zabaleta, Kolo Toure, Nastasic, Rekik; Garcia, Barry; Silva, Yaya Toure; Aguero, Tevez

Reading: Federici; Gunter, Mariappa, Pearce, Harte; Leigertwood, Karacan, Tabb; McAnuff, Kebe; Pogrebnyak
