Swansea City are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Genoa centre-back Chico.
The 25-year-old former Spain Under-21s international, whose full name is Jose Manuel Flores Moreno, is understood to be surplus to requirements at Stadio Luigi Ferraris after spending last season on loan at Mallorca.
New Swans boss Michael Laudrup was in charge of Mallorca when Chico arrived last summer and the Dane is now hopeful of competing a £3m deal to bring him to the Liberty Stadium, according to The Mirror.
Chico made 33 appearances as Mallorca finished eighth in La Liga last season.
