A report in Norway has claimed that Liverpool have had a bid accepted by Molde for defender Vegard Forren.
The 24-year-old has previously been linked with a host of European clubs, including Manchester United and Everton.
However, today's revelation has now made Liverpool the favourites to capture the centre-back.
Television channel TV2 announced this afternoon: "Molde has accepted a bid from Premier League club Liverpool. The 24-year old is travelling to England on Tuesday to undertake a medical."
Forren has made five appearances for the Norwegian senior side.
