Ex-Egypt coach Hany Ramzy advises Mohamed Salah to join Real Madrid

Ex-Egypt coach Hany Ramzy advises Liverpool's Mohamed Salah to leave the club and join Real Madrid.

Former Egypt coach Hany Ramzy has advised Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to leave the club and sign for Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have been strongly linked with a move for the Premier League's top goalscorer, and Ramzy, who managed the national team on a caretaker basis in 2011, believes that it is the right time for him to join the Spanish giants.

"I think he makes history for an Egyptian player and this is very important. Also that all the world can see that Egypt has talent," Ramzy told ESPN.

"And about the question if it is better for Salah to stay at Liverpool or transfer to another league, I think all the media are talking about Real Madrid or Barcelona. For me, Salah is ready to make this step. For him it's time.

"It's the right time to transfer or go to Real Madrid, especially I think Real Madrid as the way they play could be a very, very good transfer for Salah, because he makes everything this season with Liverpool."

Salah, who has 57 caps for Egypt, has scored 43 goals for the Reds this term.
