Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford.

Liverpool will hope to be boosted by the returns of two key players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford.

Jurgen Klopp has been missing Trent Alexander-Arnold for the past two weeks through illness, while James Milner also came down with an ailment before the EFL Cup win over Norwich City.

However, Alexander-Arnold should be fit enough to make his comeback on the right-hand side here, while Andy Robertson will displace Kostas Tsimikas on the left, despite some impressive showings from the Greek defender.

Naby Keita only lasted 45 minutes against Norwich and has now been ruled out of this contest by Klopp, but Fabinho was sure to return to the engine room regardless.

Jordan Henderson is also set to displace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Curtis Jones could hold his place as Keita joins Harvey Elliott on the sidelines.

Two of Liverpool's latest 100 club members Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are set for recalls out wide, even with Takumi Minamino earning high praise from Klopp for his two-goal showing at Carrow Road.

Roberto Firmino could potentially return from a thigh problem in time to earn some minutes at Brentford, but Diogo Jota will likely retain his spot in the first XI for now.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Jones; Salah, Jota, Mane
