Chelsea 'join Manchester United, Liverpool in Jadon Sancho race'

Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester United and Liverpool in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.

A proposed move to Old Trafford for the 20-year-old dominated the talk of the summer transfer window, but United could not agree a fee with Dortmund and he remained at the Westfalenstadion.

Sancho has since failed to hit the same heights as last season and is yet to find the back of the net in the current Bundesliga campaign, but the England international is still being linked with a move to a title-chasing Premier League side.

Liverpool are said to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding Sancho's future, but according to the Que Golazo podcast, Chelsea are ready to do battle with their Premier League rivals for his signature.

Dortmund have supposedly accepted that the former Manchester City man will eventually seek pastures new, and an intense battle for his services will commence in the summer with the Bundesliga side not willing to sanction a January exit.

Sancho's current deal at the Westfalenstadion will expire in 2023, and the attacker's only goals this season have come in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.

Arsenal 'join Liverpool in race for Roger Ibanez'

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Roma defender Roger Ibanez next summer.

The 22-year-old is technically on loan with Roma from Atalanta BC until the end of the 2020-21 campaign but will complete a permanent move to the former if certain conditions are met.

Liverpool have recently been linked with the centre-back amid suggestions that he could be available for a fee in the region of £36m in next summer's transfer window.

However, according to Calciomercato, Arsenal are also interested in his services as head coach Mikel Arteta looks to sign another defender, and the Gunners have already contacted Roma over a potential move.

The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are also admirers of a player who has been capped on five occasions by Brazil's Under-23s side.

Ibanez has scored once in 16 appearances for his Serie A club this season.
