Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah are both doubts for Friday's FA Cup third-round clash with Everton at Anfield.

Neither Coutinho nor Salah was included in the matchday squad for Liverpool's Premier League clash against Burnley on New Year's Day, and it was thought that the pair had simply been rested amid a busy run of matches.

Klopp, however, has revealed that both players "are injured", and could miss out on Friday's clash with the Toffees.

"Phil and Mo are injured, not massively, but enough for today [to be] no chance. And [they are] a doubt, at least a doubt, for Everton," Klopp told reporters.

Coutinho's future at Anfield is far from secure as the Brazilian playmaker continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona.

Ragnar Klavan netted a stoppage-time winner as Liverpool recorded a 2-1 win at Burnley on Monday afternoon.
