Kevin-Prince Boateng: 'Ronaldinho best of all time'

Las Palmas midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng says that his former AC Milan teammate Ronaldinho is the best player of all time.

Kevin-Prince Boateng has claimed that former AC Milan teammate Ronaldinho is the best player of all time, choosing the Brazilian over "Zinedine Zidane, Pele or Maradona".

Boateng, who currently plays his club football for Las Palmas in Spain, was asked by Fox Sports who he believed was the finest player to take to the field in the history of football.

Without hesitation, the Ghanaian midfielder picked his former AC Milan teammate and did not mention either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo when explaining his reasons.

"Ronaldinho. When I came to Milan, Dinho wasn't at his best, but when he wanted to, he showed what he could do with the ball and was impressive," said Boateng.

"In those moments, you'd realise that he was the best player in the world, over Zidane, Pele or Maradona. He could hit the crossbar however many times he wanted and juggled with the ball to an unimaginable extent. It was impossible to find a player with so much talent in 1.80m."

Ronaldinho, 36, has not represented a professional club since leaving Brazilian side Fluminense last September, but has still not officially retired.
