Piti calls for improvement

Granada forward Piti is confident that his side will overcome their poor run of form.

Granada forward Piti has insisted that the players are "training hard" in an attempt to overcome their poor run of form.

The Spanish outfit have won just one of their last five matches in the league, while they were recently knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Segunda Division side Alcorcon.

"We want the group to be closer, we're all together, we can talk about the mistakes we've made in games, so they're not going to happen again, trying to sort out the things that have been harming us badly in games, to see if we can find the solutions. We have a very important game of Friday," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We're training strongly, we're training hard, trying to ensure that the problems we've had in recent games, don't come back to haunt us, trying to correct the mistakes we've made."

Granada face Real Valladolid at home on Friday.
