Issiaga Sylla own goal earns Toulouse draw at Gazelec Ajaccio

Issiaga Sylla's scores an own goal as Toulouse come from behind to draw at Gazelec Ajaccio.

Issiaga Sylla's second-half own goal has handed Toulouse a point away to newly-promoted Gazelec Ajaccio

Martin Braithwaite gave le Tefece a 21st-minute lead in Corsica after the Dane latched onto Aleksandar Pesic's through ball before slotting his shot into the bottom-right corner of Clement Maury's net.

Toulouse's lead lasted only four minutes after Sylla's corner found Kevin Mayi, who sent his leader low to the right of keeper Ali Ahamada.

Braithwaite went close to restoring the visitors' advantage, but the forward's close-range effort was kept out by Maury.

Instead, Gazelec edged in front on the stroke of half time as Mayi's menacing cross found Gregory Pujol only a few yards out and the forward poked the ball past Ahamada.

However, TFC restored parity within four minutes of the restart after Sylla inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.

The hosts almost snatched a late victory, but David Ducourtioux's shot came back off the crossbar as Gazelec remain without a maiden win in the top flight.
